Treehouse


I have started to carve into the wooden canvas based in gold leaf, it has a quality similar to religious icon painting. Yesterday I tried scorching the wood with a blow torch which looks brilliant particularly when its iron brushed!

Tornado Dream

A dream of the tornado in london last night caused havoc and I woke with the sensation that the whole earth was shaking..... was there an earthquake last night?!

Robin Rhode


Robin rhode was an inspiration last night at the Hayward Gallery. A video of a live performance where he paints and interacts with his drawings on the wall of the gallery. The black paint smears everywhere as he mimics playing the painting of a guitar. Brilliant energy. I was grateful to have worked for him at the South Bank...

I'm sitting up on the 14th floor of a tower block looking out over a reservoir and what looks like towers of gothic castle. London sprawls out in front of me. I hear seagulls mixed with the rush of distant traffic which begin to sound like waves crashing... I feel good, somehow this crows nest of a view is helping...
